KUMBUNGU DISTRICT ASSEMBLY HOSTS SUCCESSFUL GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING
The Kumbungu district Assembly convened its General Assembly Meeting on 20th November 2025 at the District Assembly Hall, bringing together members of the assembly, traditional leaders, and stakeholders.
The meeting focused on key agenda items, including consideration and approval of the 2026 Annual Action Plan, composite budget, and fee-fixing resolutions.
Presentations highlighted the district's development priorities, budget allocations, and strategies for revenue mobilization. After thorough discussions, the assembly approved the plans, ensuring alignment with national development goals and community needs.
The 2026 plan focuses on improving infrastructure, agriculture, education, and healthcare.
The meeting also addressed fee-fixing resolutions, aiming to enhance revenue collection for development projects.
