Kumbungu District Assembly has recorded a remarkable improvement in the 2025 Public Financial Management Compliance League Table (PFMCLT), rising from the 181st position nationally in 2024 to the 60th position in 2025, representing an impressive gain of 121 places within a year. The Assembly also achieved a compliance score of 75.30 percent, significantly above the national average score of 56.20 percent, reflecting its strong commitment to prudent financial management, accountability and transparency.

The remarkable achievement has been attributed largely to the leadership and strategic direction of the District Chief Executive, whose commitment to strengthening financial discipline and institutional performance has contributed significantly to the Assembly’s improved standing. The Assembly remains committed to sustaining these gains and further improving public service delivery in the district.
